Light, savoury rather than fruity wine with hay straw, oak, wild herbs, flowers, earth and spice together with subtle strawberry and red cherry. An unusual and distinctive fine-textured wine showing impressive power and a lingering finish. It may be condemned by some as being too herbal but I see it as a useful and extremely palatable alternative to the more sensual “fruit bomb” styles that are easier to understand.
