From a coastal vineyard in the Lower Dashwood area of the Awatere Valley in a slightly riper style than wines made from vineyards higher up the valley. Intriguing wine with fresh snow pea, passion fruit, tomato leaf and lemon grass flavours plus a rich, almost oily texture. It has typical Awatere Valley concentration heightened, perhaps, by respectable vine age and four months ageing on the yeast lees.
