A ripe and predictably powerful example of Awatere Valley Sauvignon Blanc with sweet, estery tree fruit and red capsicum flavours together with a rang of more herbaceous characters including nettle and lemon grass. It has typical Awatere Valley intensity with a slightly riper flavour profile. Extended contact with the yeast lees appears to have added extra weight and richness without blurring the wine’s fruit integrity. Elegant and lingering with a pure texture.
