Savoury wine with an emphasis on floral, wild herbs and mixed spice flavours supported by an undercurrent of red fruits. Firm, ripe tannins provide a solid backbone and guarantee good cellaring potential. A more supple and less blockbuster style than its stablemate from Villa Maria. Made from 100% Syrah grown on the Gimblett Gravels district of Hawke’s Bay.
