Made from Montepulciano grapes. Full-flavooured and quite gutsy red with strong plum, spice and subtle oak flavours. A solidly fruit-focused wine. Plenty of plump fruit sweetness with ripe tannins giving a pleasantly dry finish. Not too austere - can be enjoyed without food.
