This is Coleraine’s best ever vintage, according to winery owner, John Buck. Coleraine is perhaps New Zealand’s most celebrated blended red. It stood head and shoulders above the rest of the field when the 1982 vintage was launched although it has since been overtaken by many others. A restrained Bordeaux-like red with subtle blackcurrant, cedar, plum and floral aromas overlaid by classy French oak. Built to last with a lineage that clearly proves it can.
