5 Star Rating

At seven years of age this intense, complex wine is just starting to hit its straps. Right now primary fruit flavours of sweet berry, plum and spice dominate but emerging Bovril and toast-like characters are beginning to make a useful contribution. Bottle age has also helped give a more mellow and appealingly silken texture. This is a beautiful wine that promises to gain even more grace with additional bottle age.
