Quite a contrast to the winery's other single vineyard wine, The Steppes, which is more robust and intensely fruity. This is a supple, elegant wine with red cherry, floral and a suggestion of wild herbs. It has a moderately firm backbone of tannins which suggest cellaring potential although the wine can be enjoyed now.
