Stratford Martinborough NZ Pinot Noir 2003

5 Star Rating
95/100 55
Strat Canning works as a winemaker for Margrain to help finance his own three-hectare vineyard. This classy, deep, dense wine has plenty of appealing ripe fruit flavours including mocha, dark plum, black cherry, licorice, spice and a strong influence of classy French oak. The high alcohol is (just) contained by the wine’s powerful flavours.
