Concentrated wine with a heady mix of passion fruit, gooseberry, capsicum and box hedge characters. Mouth-filling wine with impressive length and richly textured. Very classy Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc that barrel fermentation has given extra palate weight and an enriched texture without intruding too much on the aromatics. This limited edition wine is significantly superior to the regular label, which is also quite good. An example, perhaps, of what can be achieved when a winery that crushes more Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc than any other decides to try and prove big can also be best.
