Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon. Strong, bright, sweet fruit - a vibrant red that's full of energy (as opposed to one that's mellow, rich and warming). Good food wine particularly with pasta and a rich meat sauce. Bright berry with subtle herb and oak flavours.
