Interesting wine that’s a siginficant departure from the usual Marlborough model. It’s been barrel-fermented and matured in oak to give a moderately overt, but very tasty, amount of oak character adding extra interest to rich pear and brioche flavours. An exotic Pinot Gris for savouring rather than sipping.
