Saint Clair Wairau Reserve Marlborough NZ Sauvignon Blanc 2009

The grapes for Saint Clair’s flagship Sauvignon Blanc were harvested from two vineyards; one in Dillon’s Point and the second on Thompson’s Ford Road. The choice of vineyard/s varies from year to year in order to optimise quality. This bold, complex, and concentrated wine captures the essence of Marborough Sauvignon Blanc and multiplies it by a factor of two. It’s pungently aromatic with passionfruit, currant, red capsicum and box hedge/thiol characters. Power-plus with a lingering finish that won’t quit.
