This is the most impressive vintage of Rifleman I have yet tasted. It is an incredibly powerful wine with a strong chalky/mineral influence to citrus/grapefruit zest, toasted nut and mealy yeast lees characters. It also shows a good influence of classy oak that is thankfully less prominent than some past examples. The wine has a wonderful texture and impressive length.
