This brand new label is one of the better examples of 2008 Sauvignon Blanc I’ve tasted to date. It has distinctive regional tomato leaf/green capsicum/gooseberry flavours that clearly define its Awatere origin. A good balance between slight sweetness and crisp acidity gives a mellow, dry-ish finish. Lengthy wine that shows a touch of class.
