Deep golden wine - suggesting concentration and age. Very intense wine that builds in the mouth to reveal an array of flavours suggesting chocolate almonds, oriental spices, creme brulee and aniseed. Impressive wine with power and complexity. Still in fine form with years of development ahead. One of the best examples of Vin Santo I’ve tasted.
