Each year I look forward to tasting the Calvert vineyard wines from Felton Road, Craggy Range and Pyramid Valley. They're always good and always different. Same fruit but very individual winemaking characters. This is clearly made in a Burgundian style with the suggestion of some whole-bunch giving the wine a sappy complexity - an acquired taste which I have acquired. Delicate, floral wine with appealing purity and length. A real charmer with interesting bottle development.
