Savoury red with plum, berry and spicy oak flavours plus a seasoning of spice/pepper and licorice/anise. Pleasantly dry with fine tannins and enough sweet fruit to be enjoyed without the complication of food although it offers a good match with light to moderately full-flavored dishes. Interesting wine with character and some complexity.
