A rather unusual nose that reminds me of gamey beef or beef stock. The wine is rich and savoury and quite developed. Soft, ripe tannins promote a rich texture. Very European in style with a focus on texture and complexity rather than fruit. It has some barnyard brett-like characters that add copmplexity and do not detract from texture.
