This Waiheke Syrah shows a wider range of flavours than the typical Hawke’s Bay style, spanning dark plum at one end of the spectrum to floral and herbs at the other. Supple and reasonably accessible with good fruit sweetness and impressive complexity. The texture is quite dense and chewy. A good viontage from Waiheke’s top Syrah producer.
