Deep, dark red with an array of fruit cake, chocolate and spice flavours. Very complex with a rich and warming (14.5% alcohol) texture. Very oaky but with sufficient fruit strength to handle. Rather like a good Crozes-Hermitage in style which makes me wonder whether it included a blend of Viognier.
