Mudbrick’s own Waiheke Island vineyard supplied hte grapes for this wine. Strong sweet fruit with an array of flavours from very ripe plum and dark berry to edgier wild herb, floral and white pepper flavours. There are also leather, spice/black pepper, and smoked meat characters. Impressively complex Syrah with a deliciously rustic quality. Classy wine made from mature vines in a favourable vintage.
