True to its exalted reputation this is an outstanding example from a moderately challenging and very bountiful vintage. It shows impressive density and richness with layers of red fruit, spice and subtle floral flavours. Beautifully balanced and with a lingering finish - this is a great Pinot Noir. The quality gulf between My difficulty’s single vineyard Pinot Noirs and the regular label is dramatic. The single vineyard wines thoroughly deserve cult status.
