One of only two examples of Pinot Gris on the country, according to my tasting records, to be labelled “dry”. It is bone-dry but I can’t help wondering if a small amount of residual sugar might not have made it less austere and helped heighten the fairly restrained fruit characters. This is a complex wine that needs food.
