Mount Riley is a moderately large Marlborough winery with over 100 hectares of vineyards spread around the Wairau Valley. Their Limited Release Sauvignon Blanc is a small production wine made from the very best fruit each year selected after an extensive blind tasting. In 2010 the successful vineyard was the home block that surrounds the winery. Rich, tangy wine with impressive drive. Passion fruit, red capsicum, mineral and lemon grass flavours reflect a wine with strong varietal character. Linear and power with an impressively lingering finish.
