Mahi The Alias Marlborough NZ Sauvignon Blanc 2008

Dry, grassy and quite acidic Sauvingon Blanc with fine, spicy oak characters that linger in the finish. A very distinctive and individual wine in a bone-dry style. Although the wine has a good texture I find the oak distracts from fruit flavour and may be at least partly responsible for a slightly resinous note.
