Kidnapper Cliffs Hawke's Bay NZ Chardonnay 2009

4 Star Rating
91/100 45
Concentrated Chardonnay with tree fruit, citrus, bready yeast lees, hazelnut and gunflint/mineral flavours underpinned by classy oak. Big and complex wine with a long and multi-layered finish. Firm fruit and oak tannins combine with acidity to add structure and help drive the wine's impressive length. Clearly youthful and with a promising future.
