Rich, fleshy wine - very Pinot Noir-like with more plummy character and greater colour. Delicious and charming wine with character. Smooth textured and moderately long. Hasn't got the layered complexity of a good Pinot Noir. Sy Laurent has Pinot Noir as one parent but inconclusive on the other.
