4 Star Rating

Very appealing Gewurztraminer with lifted rose petal/Turkish delight flavours and an ethereal texture. Good concentration - a wine full of charm from a Gisborne vintage widely regarded to be the best for 20-30 years. Over two years bottle-age has allowed the flavours to integrate and the wine to become richer and smoother. It’s probably at, or close to, peak form now but should offer good drinking for the next two to three years.
