Goldwater established the first vineyard on Waiheke Island. The success of Goldwater’s wines encouraged many others to follow its lead. Attractive red with a rich, almost chewy, Bordeaux-like texture and a medley of berry and plum flavours. The oak is evident, classy and appropriate. Accessible wine that has obvious cellaring potential.
