The second vintage of Forrest’s low alcohol (8.5%) German style Riesling is not quite the equal of the first release which enjoyed spectacular success at wine competitions. Nonetheless it does deliver lots of lip-smacking Riesling flavour supported by a similar tangy acidity. It’s a little juicy at this stage although a few more months in bottle could see the wine develop more vinosity.
