Moderately dense red that’s showing good bottle age. Quite an appealing varietal wine with a hint of herbs adding interest to blackberry and oak flavours. Rather austere on the finish. Not bad value at the price.
Tasted: Jun 2008 Average price: NZD $19 (~USD $16)
