A blend of Pinot Noir (60%), Chardonnay (35%) and Pinot Meunier (5%). This is the country’s nost enduring premium sparkling wine labels. It has evolved significantly and will continue to change with future blends aimed at Chardonnay dominance. Rich, fleshy wine with a pleasingly soft texture and bready chocolate-wrapper flavours confirming Pinot Noir dominance. A good all-round crowd-pleasing wine showing a bit of class although I would prefer it to be slightly less sweet (the current dosage is 12 g/l RS).
