Fine, dry wine with an interesting mix of citrus, mineral and spicy oak flavours. The oak is a little clumsy, leaving a woody, sawdust-like impression on the finish. Any green characters in cool climate Chardonnay tends to react with oak giving a slightly resinous character similar to that found in this wine. I would consider using more lees stirring and less oak. It might settle down in time.
