The first vintage of a new label by the former owner of Te Awa winery from their vineyard in the Gimblett Gravels area. This deliciously drinkable wine is made to enjoy while slower maturing blockbuster reds from this excellent vintage are slowly maturing. It has plenty of strong luscious dark and red berry flavours that have a subtle seasoning of cracked pepper and oak. A silken textured beauty with tantalisingly sweet fruit.
