Craggy Range Te Kahu Hawke's Bay NZ 2008

4 Star Rating
90/100 45
Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec blend from the Gimblett Gravels district. Te Kahu is less than half the price of Sophia, Craggy Range’s premium Merlot-dominant red but it reflects this quality-focused winery’s meticulous attention to detail and is certainly not half the quality. Dense wine with attractive sweet fruit and a solid structure of fine tannins. Very impressive red with potential to develop well at least in the medium term.
