A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc from grapes grown in the Gimblett Gravels area of Hawkes Bay. An incredibly dense wine in both colour and flavour with impressive complexity of dark berries, exotic spice and subtle floral characters that are barely accessible in its youthful form but will certainly be revealed in time. The wine is characterised by a wonderful velvet texture and considerable length of flavour.
