A new flagship label at a reasurringly expensive price that equals that of their previously most expensive wine, Le Sol Syrah. This is a very fine, restrained Pinot Noir with a soft-texture despite a firm, underlying backbone of tannins. It has an array of dark and red fruit flavours with a storng influence of savoury, toasty characters. I found the oak slightly dominant at this stage although that may change with extra bottle age.
