A complex, savoury Pinot Noir style with tobacco, cherry, wild herb and classy French oak flavours. Firm tannins give a drying and slightly austere finish. Quite different from the usual "fruit bomb" Kiwi style but I'm unconvinced that it has enough fruit power to age well.
