Cabernet Sauvignon dominant wine with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec grown in Te Awanga, a realtively cool coastal district of Hawke’s Bay. Intense red with strong savoury, gamy characters adding extra interest to berry, mint and (appropriately) black olive flavours. A wine of character that has built a strong following.
