5 stars
95/100
Carrick makes this flagship Pinot Noir from grapes harvested in their Bannockburn vineyard in exceptional vintages. Super-dense Pinot Noir from the excellent 2007 vintage. Rich and powerful wine with plum/prune, chocolate, dark cherry and Oriental spice flavours. The wine has a sumptuous, velvety texture that is totally seductive. It improved dramatically in the glass - an indication of cellaring potential.
