4 Star Rating
88/100 45
Dense and intensely-flavoured wine made from “older vines” in from the Cairnmuir vineyard in Bannockburn. A significant percentage of the wine’s life appears to have been in oak judging by the strong oak influence. However the rich and ripe fruit flavours (almost) balance the oak and will no doubt integrate better in time. A bold wine at an equally bold price point.
