I was underwhelmed when I first tasted this wine shortly after (or perhaps before) its release but my latest tasting notes reveal a wine of far greater stature. That difference demonstrates the dramatic changes that Pinot Noir can sometimes experience in the first few years following bottling. A typical (for the vintage) velvet texture with dark cherry and subtle spicy flavour. Elegant wine that's not quite in the fruit bomb league (and better for it). Very classy Pinot Noir.
