Charming Chardonnay with good fruit purity and appealing mineral flavours. The winemaking influence is subtle, allowing fruit flavours to occupy centrestage. Delicately dry with a fine backbone of ripe tannins and gentle acidity. One of the better 2008 Hawke’s Bay Chardonnays I’ve tasted.
