Deliciously dense, ripe red fruit flavours showing surprising intensity for a wine at this price level. This is a serious red that's deliciously drinkable with juicy flavours and lively acidity. Just the thing for pasta and a rich meat sauce. Great value. The fact that it is sealed with a screwcap is remarkable when you consider it's from Spain, the home of cork where many of the regulatory bodies insist that a wine has a cork if it wants to bear the local appellation.
