5 Star Rating
93/100 55
This wine was awarded 93 points by the American publication Wine Spectator, the highest score ever given to a Central Otago Pinot Noir, according to Amisfield. It also earned a gold medal at the International Wine Challenge in London. Soft, rich and reasonably silken Pinot Noir that achieves more concentration and a better texture than most Central Otago wines from this vintage. It displays an array of red fruit, spice, chocolate and new leather flavours. Amisfield Pinot Noir has achieved a remarkable consistency in style and quality with this wine over many vintages.
