Noticably more colour than its peers perhaps from a slight botrytis influence although the wine also shows evidence of skin contact. Quite a gutsy and complex style. I was uncertain at first but the layers of flavours and lengthy finish won me over to this Alsace-style wine. It has a rich and rustic appeal.
